This Northville property had great bones - a beautiful brick home with mature trees and solid hardscaping. What it was missing was a landscape design that actually matched the home's character. So we started from scratch and built something that works during the day and after dark.

The plant selection was a big part of what makes this one work. We layered in hydrangeas, boxwoods, astilbe, and ornamental grasses along with natural boulders to create depth and texture across the front beds. Nothing looks flat or one-dimensional. Each section of the yard has its own visual interest, but it all ties together as one cohesive design. That's the goal with every landscape installation we do - make it feel intentional, not just planted.

Then there's the lighting. Low-voltage outdoor lighting is one of those things homeowners don't fully appreciate until they see their own home lit up at night for the first time. We ran fixtures along the walkway, uplighted the architecture, and placed spotlights on the trees and key planting areas. The result is a home that looks sharp at 10pm just as much as it does at noon. It adds security, it adds curb appeal, and honestly - it just looks incredible.

The daytime landscape and the nighttime lighting system were designed to complement each other, not work independently. That's how we approach every project. We're thinking about how the light will hit a particular shrub or boulder grouping after dark when we're placing it during the day. That kind of planning is what separates a thoughtful landscape installation from one that just looks okay.

We serve Northville, Novi, Plymouth, South Lyon, New Hudson, Brighton, Milford, Farmington Hills, and the surrounding areas. If your home's exterior isn't matching the effort you've put into everything else, this is the kind of work that changes that.
