This Novi property needed work on both ends - the front lacked curb appeal, and the back had no real usable space. So we came in with a full plan: paver walkway and steps up front, a paver patio out back, fresh sod, landscape beds with lighting throughout. Everything tied together from the street to the backyard.
The front walkway sets the tone. We used large-format pavers with a contrasting dark border to frame the path leading up to the entry. Low-profile landscape lighting fixtures were placed right in the mulch beds to add definition at night without overdoing it. The plantings along the foundation pull the whole look together and give it a polished, intentional feel.
Out back, we built a solid paver patio that gives the homeowners an actual place to be. The multi-tone pavers tie back to the front, so the property feels cohesive rather than pieced together. The patio steps down from the back door with clean, layered paver stairs - built to last and built to look good doing it. Fresh sod was laid to bring the lawn up to the same standard as everything else.
When we plan a full install like this, we're thinking about how every element connects. The lighting, the plant placement, the paver patterns - none of it is an afterthought. That's what separates a yard that looks put-together from one that just has a bunch of stuff in it.
A well-designed outdoor space adds real value to a home. More importantly, it makes the property a place you actually enjoy. We do this kind of work all across the Novi area, and we put the same level of care into every install we take on.
